About Laura

I wrote this song for a conference on spirituality and business entitled, "The Heart of Leadership." It reminds me to follow my calling, lead by example, step more and more into my Great Work, relax into the power of Flow, and to welcome the miracles—large and small—that happen every day.

Look How I'm Leading Now
Words and Music by Laura Derocher

I feel this pounding.
A new world is sounding inside me.
I hear my calling.
Through fear, I'm falling.
No more time for stalling,
'cause I'm the one. Yes, I'm the one.

CHORUS:
If I don't lead with the power of angels, who will?
We don't need anymore struggle,
just a little more love and goodwill.
Let everyone look to me to surrender faithfully.
I'll show them how. I'll show them how
'cause I'm leading…
Oh, look how I'm leading now!

I used to control.
I used to need to know
What the goal was (and exactly how to get there).
But now I'm finding, as life's unwinding,
all those plans get too binding.
So I'm making room for miracles, miracles, miracles.

CHORUS (Repeat, minus last line.)

BRIDGE:
I'm letting go now, working with flow now.
Here's my new start back to my heart.
I'm letting go now, working with flow now.
Here's my new start back to my heart.

CHORUS (Repeat)

TAG:
Yeah, look how I'm leading now.
Look how I'm leading now.
